In its second annual year, Exotics on Cannery Row adds something new and fresh to the Monterey Car Week calendar of events. Year one brought huge crowds and a lot of new exotic cars, which really differentiates the event from almost every other on the Peninsula. 2016 brought crowds just as big (maybe even more so) with some enthusiast owned exotics as well as manufacturer cars.
While Exotics on Cannery Row may not be what most diehard Monterey Car Week goers associate the week with, it certainly brings out a younger crowd. Because lets face it, my generation and younger probably grew up learning to drive an automatic and that cars are just meant to get you from point A to point B. Exotics on Cannery Row may just be that event to get more youth interested in the automotive industry.
